Great!

It's a nice showreel of your year's work. I definitely appreciate it as I intend to study animation at university next year so this has left me with a few expectations of what I'll probably be doing. Thanks! :)

Awesome!

I've only played the first 2 smash bros and loved them. Despite being unfamiliar with a lot of the characters, I really enjoyed it.
You did well to finish with Alvin's work. Went out with a bang!

Woah!

Absolutely beautiful! A great combination of tweening and frame by frame, an interesting, well delivered story which certainly has me waiting for more and gorgeous visuals!
At the end, I believe this was the first flash animation to actually make me open my mouth and just exclaim, "Shiiiitt!!! That's nuts!!".
I'm looking forward to the next installment!

Hmm...

I'm not sure if I enjoyed it or not. You're an excellent artist I can say that much but as other people have said, not the best animator/director or storyteller.

I found the camera movements quite irritating as they were way too dynamic in quite calm scenes. Try to still them in your next episode. You also need to work on your tweening and maybe use some more conventional frame by frame animation to make the characters look more natural whilst moving. In my opinion, tweening is for non-organic things like cars and such unless you can REALLY nail down that perfect movement through tweening for your characters.

I also found that the aliens were exposed too early and maybe you were too eager to show off your work that has gone towards making them. Alex seemed too comfortable too early, she was kicking and screaming inside her tube until she broke out and then she was kicking ass like noone's business. She also knew what to do with the suit as soon as those spikes were absorbed. I was also taken aback by the fact that she just left her fellow humans inside those tubes. Wouldn't any normal person set them free in an attempt to get help?

A lot more thought should have been put into this animation. Although it's pretty, the story is weak and feels rushed, it certainly didn't pull me in and the animation and direction is very messy.

Unlike the others, I didn't have a problem with the voice acting. I thought it was ok. And like I said, the art that has been put into making everything in this animation was obviously painstaking and it really does show. You just need to research good composition and storytelling, I recommend studying Valhalla Knight in depth.

This is constructive critisism and as I am currently studying everything that I've raised (composition, etc), I know what I'm talking about.

Good luck in your next piece.

i understand. yes. i'll work on things. but part of the review is a result of things i've left out on purpose. i know. everyone is going to be mad about this. but i swear everything will be explained. even then ppl will say, "Gah that sucked, wasn't worth the confusion." but i'm not making this for them. this is for ppl that want to figure it out and understand. but i'm trying to improve. just takes a lot of work. and it's just me doing this. sure i have several friends working on the story with me. but the rest is up to me. and that is wat ppl are reacting so negatively toward. it'll get better.

I liked it!

Really simple humour through dialogue. I loved the political argument the two people were having!

Hmm...

That was pretty dark. The animation was pretty damn good.

Fucking brilliant!!

That had me in absolute stitches! Your animation has got so much better too!

This will be on Front Page for a long long time I think!

For once you made me chuckle! I commend your effort, son!

Hahaha!!

"Would you look at the side of my head please?"

Awesome!

Hahaha!

I asked the same question a few times and expected to be laughed at so I followed the question from, "This may sound like a stupid question but...".
This was pretty funny and really camp! I liked it alot!

Residing in the UK, studying at Plymouth College of Art and Design in animation. Take inspiration from Japanese animation and graphic novels. My favourite artists are Hayao Miyazaki and Yukito Kishiro.
